Things at the shop have been buzzing! Artists have been dropping off decorated bras with stories of their inspiration for the judged cometition & auction. We have a small army of mannequins forming to model the artwork. What's all the buzz about? On November 7th, Best Rack Around will proudly present our 2nd Annual Bras Raise Awareness Art Show & Auction at River Creek Club in Leesburg. We're looking forward to enjoying a night of libations, delicious noshes, music, & fun times with all who will be in attendance! Most importantly, we are looking forward to raising funds for Loudoun Breast Health Network so that they can continue to support women with breast cancer in need in Loudoun County.
If you've experienced any type of cancer or supported a family member who has, you know that there are many challenges in addition to the physical and emotional. Often times, financial assistance is needed while patients take time off of work to seek intensive treatments and recover. The women at Loudoun Breast Health Network work tirelessly to provide women with the resources they need to focus on that treatment and recovery, from durable goods such as wigs, prostheses, and mastectomy bras to funds for mammograms and medical bills. They also provide funding for everything in between, including incidentals to assist with the purchase of food items, medications, utilities, rent or mortgage, and transportation costs.
